Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council has announced that it has been forced to remove several pieces of play equipment from the Town playpark for safety reasons.

The council believes that the equipment has been misused and possibly vandalized, which has made it unsafe for children to use. The council has taken the step to ensure the safety of children who use the park, and it has sourced replacement equipment that will cost over £800.

In a statement, the council apologised for any inconvenience caused by the removal of the equipment, but it believes that the safety of children is of the utmost importance.
