Montgomeryshire politicians, Russell George MS and Craig Williams MP, have written a letter to the Chief Ambulance Service Commissioner, Stephen Harrhy, urging that the ongoing review of the air ambulance service includes options for expanded service with additional funding from the Welsh Government.

A new chair has been appointed to Powys Teaching Health Board for a term of four years.
Carl Cooper has been selected by the Minister for Health and Social Services Eluned Morgan as the preferred candidate following an open and fair competition and will take up the role from the 17 October, subject to the relevant pre-employment security checks.
