The vote took place during a council meeting on July 24, 2023, where the Council decided against submitting an official response and instead encouraged individual town councillors to respond independently.

The Review of Leisure Services initiated by Powys County Council entails a comprehensive assessment of the current provision, utilization, operating expenses, environmental impact, and infrastructural conditions of the existing leisure facilities. Additionally, the review takes into account alternative active leisure opportunities accessible to the people of Powys.
