In a challenging match held at Jenner Park Stadium in Barry, the local football scene witnessed a commanding performance as Barry Town triumphed over Newtown AFC with a resounding 4-0 victory.

The game, attended by 366 enthusiastic fans, showcased Barry's dominance on the field.

Barry Town's goal scorers demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the match, with Ben Blythe leading the charge with goals in the 19th and 43rd minutes. Sam Snaith added to the tally in the 59th minute, and Ollie Hulbert sealed the victory with a goal in the 71st minute.

Despite Newtown AFC's efforts, they were unable to find the back of the net, leaving the scoreline in favor of Barry Town.

With this defeat, Newtown AFC finds themselves in 4th place in the JD Premier table with a total of 33 points. The team has encountered a recent setback, suffering three consecutive losses.

With only one game left against TNS on the 13th Jan, can the Robins retain their 4th spot?
