Newtown High School's U18 boys football team emerged victorious in the Powys Championship, securing their spot in the national rounds.
In a great display of skill and determination the Under 18 boys football team from Newtown High School has won the Powys Championship, beating Welshpool High School 5-4 in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The boys will now advance to the last 16 in Wales playing Castell Alun High School in Wrexham.
