Golfer, Isaac Jones from Newtown, has been selected to represent the Wales Under-16 team in the upcoming European Young Masters.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th July at the esteemed Sedin Golf Club in Slovakia. At just 15 years old, Isaac has already made a name for himself in the golfing community and is poised to make his mark on the international stage.

Isaac, from Milford Road, Newtown, is a former Junior Captain at St Giles Golf Club, Newtown, and will play in a four-strong team at Sedin Golf Club, Slovakia from 27-29 July. He is also current member of Oswestry Golf Club, is a regular player for Shropshire Schoolboys.

Isaac's selection to the Wales Under-16 team follows in the footsteps of his cousins, Connor Owen and Connor Jones, both of whom have also represented Wales at an international level. Notably, the two Connors have continued their golfing pursuits in American universities, showcasing the caliber of talent that Newtown produces.

With his current achievements, Isaac hopes to attract local sponsors who can support his burgeoning career.
