Police are interested in a black Audi vehicle which they believe was used in the recent burgulary at Santander in Newtown.

Police are on the lookout for a large black Audi estate car which they believe was used in the incident.  It is believed that tens of thousands of pounds were taken during the incident and no arrests have yet been made.

In a statement, Dyfed Powys Police said:

“We are aware of the other incidents nationally and are liaising with other Police Forces to establish any links, we are keeping an open mind.

“We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation.

“We are particularly interested in a large black Audi estate car which we believe was used during the burglary.

“If you have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area of High Street, Newtown, in the early hours of Friday, March 22, please get in touch.”
